This isn’t your grandma’s tea party. Olivia Rodrigo was the musical guest for the December 9 episode of Saturday Night Live, where she performed two tracks from her second studio album, Guts. After a quiet piano performance of her chart-topping single “Vampire,” the 20-year-old singer-songwriter followed up with a theatrical rendition of “All-American Bitch,” in which she crushed champagne flutes, stepped in cake, and played with knives (all while looking effortlessly stylish, of course).

The California native embraced her playful side while wearing a custom pink Hill House dress, which was smeared with cake by the end of the number. The vintage-looking design included a frilly Peter Pan collar, puffy sleeves, and a flared skirt. As revealed on the official Hill House Instagram, the dress was paired with matching underwear from the brand as well.

To round out the fit, Rodrigo added a pair of white, knee-high socks and black Dr. Martens boots (a shoe she turns to often, as evidenced by photos she posted on Instagram a few months back).

This was Rodrigo’s second major late-night appearance of the week, after she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon only two nights prior. Then, the pop star also filmed an episode of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts, which premiered early this morning. For that set, the “Bad Idea Right?” singer proved her love of ’50s-inspired dresses yet again with a black crocheted minidress from Celine.
