Catherine, Princess of Wales, is once again proving you cannot go wrong with the classics.
Today, the royal took part in a “Dad Walk” during a visit to Dadvengers, a community for dads and their children, in north London, and for the occasion wore a casually elegant everyday look that is so easy to re-create.
The royal-approved off-duty outfit consisted of a white crewneck sweater with horizontal navy stripes, high-waisted blue jeans with a subtle flair, a light brown rain jacket from Barbour, and dark brown leather boots with rubber soles. Kate accessorized only with small gold hoop earrings. As for glam, the princess wore natural rosy makeup and had her hair down in her signature silky blown-out waves.

Kate’s sweater is an absolutely timeless staple in her wardrobe; she even wore a similar piece—though the colors were reversed—last summer. While we don’t know where the royal shopped the fall staple, you can find nearly identical styles everywhere from La Ligne to J.Crew, Banana Republic, Gap, and Reformation. As for Kate’s Barbour jacket, cult-favorite athleisure brand Lululemon sells a similar outdoorsy style, as does Danish outerwear brand Rains.
The walk Kate attended today was meant to highlight the important role fathers play in their children’s earliest years. In photos, the princess is seen laughing, chatting, and strolling around a park with several dads and their young kids.

The outing marked Kate’s first royal engagement in two weeks, as she and husband Prince William had scaled down their royal duties while their three children—Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five—were off from school for a half-term holiday.
